Windows ME Dial-Up Set Up
From your Start Menu select "Settings" and then "Dialup Networking".
Double-click the "Make New Connection" icon.
Give the connection any name you wish, and select your modem. Click "Next".
Type in the phone number (804) 458-4283 and click "Next", then click "Finish".
From your Start Menu select "Settings" and then "Dialup Networking" again.
Double-click the icon for the connection you just created.
Enter the user name and password that has been assigned to your account.
To save yourself time in the future, check the "Save password" box and you will not have to re-enter your password each time you connect. You can also check the "Connect automatically" box to have your computer automatically connect when you open a page in your browser or check your email.
Make sure the correct phone number is displayed in the phone number section and click "Connect".
